G. Bell, Peter Wigham, Trevor McClughan, Candace McCughan, W. Elder Robson, ? Leifer, Randy Garrett, Carol Templeton, Bob Templeton, K. Menzies and Martin Kimble (Horseshoe Resort), plus one illegible name on the sign-in sheet. Mayor Beard called the meeting to order and advised that all persons present would be afforded the opportunity of asking questions in respect to the proposed amendments to the Zoning By-law. It was noted that the Township had received no correspondence with regard to this matter. Ms. Andria Leigh, Township Planner, gave an overview of the purpose and effect of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment. " II II I , I I I I; . " II The Mayor turned to the audience for questions and/or comments. Mr. Bill Dixon of Sprucewood Estates expressed reasons for objecting to this zoning amendment, i.e. increased traffic and effect on property values. Ms. Wendy Foxcroft, also of Sprucewood Estates, addressed Council with concerns about increased traffic and noise, safety for her child, signage and property values. Mr. Bob Templeton, President of the Bed and Breakfast Association commented on the matter, supporting the proposal indicating the benefit to the Township in terms of tourism. There being no further questions and/or comments, this public meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m. A tape of the meeting is available for review.
