Mayor Beard called the meeting to order and advised that all persons present
would be afforded the opportunity of asking questions in respect to this proposed
amendment to the Zoning By-law with regard to Hillway Equipment Ltd.,
Concession 12, Part of Lots 8 and 9, and Concession 13, Part of Lot 8 (Oro).
Refer to Attachment "B" for a list of correspondence received by the Township
with respect to this matter.
Ms. Andria Leigh, Township Planner, provided information as to the purpose and
effect of this proposed amendment to rezone the lands described as Concession
12, Part of Lots 8 and 9 and Part of Lot 9, Concession 13 (formerly within the
Township of OroO. The subject lands are proposed to be rezoned from the
Mineral Aggregate Resource Two (MAR2) Zone to the Mineral Aggregate
Resource One (MAR1) Zone. The subject property is to be used for an
aggregate extraction operation.
Mr. Gary Bell and Scott Brumwell (Brumwell & Associates) presented an update
with respect to this amendment.
