It was noted that there had been no correspondence received by the Township in this regard. Ms. Andria Leigh, Township Planner, provided information as to the purpose and effect of this proposed amendment to rezone the lands described as Concession 6, West Part of Lot 26 (formerly within the Township of Oro). The subject lands are proposed to be rezoned from the Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) Zone to the General Commercial (GC) Zone to permit the use of a repair garage in an accessory building. . Mr. Gene Zaraska expressed his concerns that an auto body shop/repair garage was not the type of business to be situated in this retirement area. The subject property has several cars already sitting waiting for work to be done, and this is unsightly. Mr. lies presented photographs of what the building on the subject property used to look like as it sat as a burned out shell, as well as pictures of what the building looks like now. He commented that he has done everything to improve the subject property from its previous condition. There being no further questions and/or comments from the audience, this public meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m. A tape of the meeting is available for review at the Township Administration Centre, Line 7 South.
