Mayor H.S. Hughes assumed the Chair and called the meeting to order.

Items 6a), c) and d) and 7 were dealt with at this time.
5. PUBLIC MEETINGS:
a) Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-Law, 2009-ZBA-24, East Half of Lot
5, Concession 6 (Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte, 478 Bass Lake Sideroad
West (Frost).
Mayor H.S. Hughes called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. and explained the
public meeting has been called under the authority of the Planning Act, Section
34, R.S.O. 1990 c.P.13, to obtain public comment with respect to a proposed
Amendment to the Zoning By-law, Application 2009-ZBA-24 (Frost), Part of
Lot 5, Concession 6, municipally known as 478 Bass Lake Sideroad West,
(formerly within Township of Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte.
Notice of the Public Meeting was mailed to landowners within 120m (400 feet)
of the specified site on January 7, 2010 and posted on a sign on the subject
property on January 6, 2010.
The following correspondence was received at the meeting: Nottawasaga
Valley Conservation Authority dated January 14, 2010; Simcoe County District
School Board dated January 20, 2010.
The Planner, explained the purpose and effect of the proposed Amendment.
A PowerPoint presentation was presented.
The following public persons offered verbal comments with respect to the
proposed Amendment: None.
Mayor H.S. Hughes advised that written submissions will be received at the
Township office until February 10, 2010 and that no additional deputations to
Council will be permitted with respect to the proposed amendment.
A digital recording of the meeting is available for review at the Township
Administration Centre, 148 Line 7 South.
There being no further comments or questions, the meeting adjourned at 6:13
p.m.

Items 6b) and 8a)].
Mayor H.S. Hughes called the meeting to order at 6:14 p.m. and explained the
public meeting has been called under the authority of the Planning Act, Section
34, R.S.O. 1990 c.P.13, to obtain public comment with respect to a proposed
Amendment to the Zoning By-law, Application 2010-ZBA-01 (Twp. Of Oro-
Medonte), Part of Lot 10, Concession 7, Plan 51 R-18193 being Part 3,
municipally known as 33 Mount St. Louis Road West, (formerly within
Township of Medonte), Township of Oro-Medonte.

Request for Extension of Draft Plan Approval.

Be it resolved that
1. Report No. DS 2010-004, Andria Leigh, Director of Development Services,
re: Request for Extension of Draft Plan Approval be received and
adopted.
2. That Council approve the extensions to draft plan approval for 638230
Ontario Limited (Keyzer) 43-OM-90082 and J. Johnston Construction
Limited 43-OM-93003 for a period of one year.
3. And Further That the affected owners be advised of Council's decision.

adopted.
2. That Zoning By-law Amendment Application 2010-ZBA-01 for Twp of
Oro-Medonte, Part of Lot 10, Concession 7, Township of Oro-Medonte,
(Former Medonte Township) on Schedule A20 on the Zoning By-law 97-
95 (as amended) from Local Commercial (LC) Zone to Agricultural/Rural
Exception 196 (A/RU*196) Zone be approved.
3. That the Clerk bring forward the appropriate By-law for Council's
consideration.
4. And Further That the applicant be notified of Council's decision.

Lot 17, Concession 4 5696 Line 4 North (Formerly Medonte Township)
be received and adopted.
2. That Zoning By-law Amendment Application 2009-ZBA-17 for Hunter,
Part of Lot 17, Concession 4, Township of Oro-Medonte, (Former
Medonte Township) on Schedule A22 on the Zoning By-law 97-95 (as
amended) from the Environmental Protection (EP) Zone to the Rural
Residential Two Exception 192 (RU R2*192) Zone be approved.
3. That the Clerk bring forward the appropriate By-law for Council's
consideration.
4. And Further That the applicant be advised of Council's decision.

The Manager of Planning Services presented a PowerPoint presentation.

1. Report No. DS 2010-007, Andria Leigh, Director of Development
Services, re: Hillway Equipment Ltd., File 2009-ZBA-02 Part of Lots 8 &
9, Concession 12, Part of Lot 9, Concession 13, Township of Oro-
Medonte (Former Township of Oro) be received and adopted.
2. That Zoning By-law Amendment Application 2009-ZBA-02 for Hillway
Equipment Ltd., Part of Lots 8 & 9, Concession 12, Township of Oro-
Medonte, (former Township of Oro) on Schedule A13 of Zoning By-law
97-95 (as amended) is hereby further amended by deleting the required
setbacks to pit excavation for the Mineral Aggregate Resource One
Exception 163 (MAR1 *163) Zone to permit adjacent to woodlot in Part of
Lots 8 and 9, Concession 12, a minimum of 15 metres and 20 metres in
locations as identified on Schedule'2'.
3. That the Clerk bring forward the appropriate By-law for Council's
consideration.
4. And Further That the applicant be advised of Council's decision.
Carried.
Council consented to allow Gary Bell to speak, on behalf of the
applicant, to the matter.

and numbered By-Law No. 2010-022.
