Deputy Mayor Hough called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. and explained the public meeting has been called under the authority of the Planning Act, Section 34, R.S.O. 1990 c.P.13, to obtain public comment with respect to a proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law, Application 2009-ZBA-13 (Leigh), Part of Lot 24 & 25, Concession 7, municipally known as 290 Ridge Road West, (formerly within the Township of Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte. Notice of the Public Meeting was mailed to landowners within 120m (400 feet) of the specified site on August 20, 2009 and posted on a sign on the subject property on the same date. The following correspondence was received at the meeting: Simcoe County District School Board dated September 2, 2009; County of Simcoe dated August 28, 2009. Steve Farquharson, Intermediate Planner, explained the purpose and effect of the proposed Amendment. A Power Point presentation will be available on the Township's website. Deputy Mayor Hough called the meeting to order at 7:18 p.m. and explained the public meeting has been called under the authority of the Planning Act, Section 34, R.S.O. 1990 c.P.13, to obtain public comment with respect to a proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law, Application 2009-ZBA-09 (Township), for a portion of the Original Road allowance north of Lots 23 & 24 on Plan 985.
