03 25 2009 2009-ZBA-03 (IPA) Public AgendaMW NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING TO THE ZONING BY-LAW TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday March 25, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose of the public meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P. 13. THE PURPOSE of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone a portion of the lands known as 15 Algonquin Trail and described as Part Block D, Plan M-8, being Part of Lot 5, Concession 6, in the Township of Oro-Medonte (formerly Oro). The subject land currently contains the private community recreation centre, which is proposed to be rezoned from the Private Recreational Exception 114 (PR*1 14) Zone to the Residential One Exception (R1 *) Zone. The exception is proposed to recognize the existing lot area and frontage for a single residential building lot. A KEY MAP illustrating the location of the subject lands is provided below. ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral submission at the public meeting or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed Amendment is adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, you must make a written request to the address below.
