Councillor Allison declared a conflict of interest on Item 4, Minutes of Previous Meeting
- September 22, 2008, re: Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment Application 2006-ZBA-
11, 1500494 Ontario Ltd. (Hans Meyer), 8976 Highway 12, South Part of Lot 1,
Concession 1 (Orillia}, Township of Oro-Medonte as he is an abutting commercial
tenant of the property. Councillor Allison did not participate in any discussion ar vote on
this item.

It is recommended that the minutes of the Planning Advisory Committee Meeting held
on September 22, 2008 be received and adopted, as amended, to revise pages 4-2 and
4-5 to indicate "abutting" commercial tenant with respect to Councillor Allison's
Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest.

Road and West of Line 4 (1198677 Ontario Ltd.).
Deputy Mayor Ralph Hough called the public meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. and
explained the public meeting has been caned under the authority of the Planr}ing Act,
Sections 17 and 34, R.S.O. 1990 c.P.13, to obtain public comment with respect to a
proposed Amendment to the Official Plan, Application 2008-OPA-02 and Zoning By-
law, Application 2008-ZBA-10 (1198677 Ontario Ltd), Lot 1, Concession 5, located on
the south side of Horseshoe Valley Road West on the West side of Line 4 North
(formerly within the Township of Oro}, Township of Oro-Medonte.
Notice of the Public Meeting was mailed to landowners within 120m (400 feet) of the
specified site on October 7, 2008 and pasted on a sign on the subject property on the
same date.

Steven Farquharson, Intermediate Planner, explained the purpose and effect of the
proposed amendment. A PowerPoint presentation was presented.
The following public members offered verbal comments with respect to the proposed
amendment: Kris Menzies, MHBG Planning. A PowerPoint presentation was
presented.
The Deputy Mayor advised that written submissions will be received at the Township
offices until November 3, 2008. No additional deputations to Council will be permitted
with respect to the proposed amendment.
A digital recording of the meeting is available for review at the Township Administration
Centre, 148 Line 7 South.
There being no further comments or questions, the meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
b} Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-Law, 2007-ZBA-03, 2007-SUB-001, Part of
