BY-LAW NO. 2001-30

Being a By-law to Appoint Representatives to the Oro-Medonte Recreational
Trail Advisory Committee
WHEREAS Section 207, subsection 45 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990,
Chapter MA5, as amended, provides for appointing such officers as may be
necessary for the purposes of the corporation;
AND WHEREAS Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte
deems it expedient to do so;
NOW THEREFORE, Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-
Medonte hereby enacts as follows:
1 . THAT the purpose of the Oro-Medonte Recreational Trail Advisory
Committee is to provide recommendations to the Recreation Advisory
Committee relating to fund raising, development and maintenance of the
Oro-Medonte Recreational Trail.
2, THAT the mandate of the Oro-Medonte Recreational Trail Advisory
Committee is:
. To act as an advisory body to the Recreational Advisory Committee.
All recommendations shall be forwarded to the Recreation Advisory
Committee.
. To develop and recommend, to the Recreation Advisory Committee, a
comprehensive set of policies for the operation and management of
the Oro-Medonte Recreational Trail;
. To develop and recommend, to the Recreation Advisory Committee, a
fundraising plan to assist in development and operation of the Oro-
Medonte Recreational Trail;
3. That the following persons are hereby appointed, at the pleasure of
Council, as Members of the Oro-Medonte Recreational Trail Advisory
Committee for the term of the Council that appointed them or until their
successors are appointed. Where a member ceases to be a member
before the expiration of his or her term, the Council may appoint another
eligible person for the unexpired portion of the term based on the
recommendation of the Recreation Advisory Committee:

Rosemary Dunsmore
Bill Johnson
Debbie Whalen-Barnett
4. THAT persons appointed to the Oro-Medonte Recreational Trail Advisory
Committee shall be paid such remuneration and expenses as Council
provides.
5. THAT By-law No. 2000-28 is hereby repealed in its entirety.

6. That this By-law shall come into force and take effect on its final passing
thereof.
