06 11 2008 2008-ZBA-05 (Resource Exchange Inc., Tascona) Public AgendaNOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING FOR PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING BY-LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE 2008-ZBA-0S TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday June 11, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose of the public meeting is to obtain public comments an a proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P. 13. THE PURPOSE of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone a portion of the lands described as Concession 3 West Part Lot 27 and West Part Lot 28, in the Township of Oro-Medonte {formerly Oro}. The subject land is proposed to be rezoned from the AgriculturallRural (AIRU} Zone to the Residential One (R1) Zone. The severance was deferred by the Committee of Adjustment on July 19, 2007 (Consent application 2007-8-18}, and subsequently appealed. The Ontario Municipal Board approved the severance of the lot an February 13, 2008. The rezoning of the subject lands was imposed as a condition of consent. A KEY MAP illustrating the location of the subject lands is provided below ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that fifes an appeal of a decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral submission at the public meeting or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed Amendment is adapted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, you must make a written request to the address below.
