TO THE ZONING BY-LAW
OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte will hold a Public
Meeting on Wednesday May 14, 2008 at 7:40 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose of
the public meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law, under
Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P. 13.
THE PURPOSE of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone a portion of the lands described as t_ot
35, Concession 4, Plan 819, in the Township of Oro-Medonte (formerly Ora). The subject land is
proposed to be rezoned from the Residential Limited Service (RLS) Zone to the Shoreline Residential
(SR) Zone. The applicant was granted provisional consent to sever by the Committee of Adjustment on
February 21, 2008 (Consent Application 2008-8-05). The rezoning of the subject lands was imposed as
a condition of consent.
A KEY MAP illustrating the location of the subject lands is provided below
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting andlor make written or verbal representation either in
support of or in opposition to the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a
decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral
submission at the public meeting or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed
Amendment is adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal.
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Ora-Medonte in respect to the proposed Zoning
By-law Amendment, you must make a written request to the address below.
