04 23 2008 2007-ZBA-10 (Perry) Public AgendaNOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING FOR PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING BY-LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE 20Q7-ZBA-IO (Perry) TATi:E NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday, April 23, 2fl~8 at ?:OQ p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose of the public meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law, under Section 34 of the Planning Act., RS.O. 199a ~. P. 13. THE PURPOSE of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone the lands described as Concession 11, East Part of Lot 17, 556 Line 11 North (formerly Oro Township). As a result of Consent Application 2007-B-21 approved by the Committee of Adjustment on August 16, 2007, the applicant has proposed to convey a parcel of land from 556 Line 11 North to 544 Line 11 .North.. As a condition of the Consent Application, the lands to be conveyed. are required to be rezoned from the AgriculturaURural (AIRU} Zone to the Rural Industrial (IR} Zone. A I~:EY MAP illustrating the location of the subject lands is provided below. ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written. or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral submission at the public meeting or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed Amendment is adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal. The applicant has been granted consent to convey 0.884 hectares from the subject property, being 544 Line 11 North, to the neighbouring property, being 544 Line 11 North. The amendment proposed will rezone the conveyed lands from the AlRU Zone to the Rural Industrial (IR}zone.
