01 23 2008 2007-ZBA-09(Gray) Public AgendaNOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING FOR PROPOSED e4MENDMENT TO THE ZONING BY-LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE .,~ 2007-ZBA-09 TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Ora-Medonte will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday January 23, 2448 at 7:40 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose of the public meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P. 13. THE PURPOSE of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone a portion of the lands described as West part of Lot 8, Concession 5, 2815 Line 4 North in the Township of Oro-Medonte (formerly Oro}. The subject land is proposed to be rezoned from the Mineral Aggregate Resource Two (MAR2} Zone to the Institutional (I} Zone. The applicant was granted provisional consent to sever by the Committee of Adjustment on October 18, 2007 (Consent Application 2007-B-30}. The rezoning of the subject lands- was imposed as a condition of consent, which will be added to-1058 Bass Lake Side Road. As a result of this application, no new building lot is proposed to be created. A KEY MAP illustrating the location of the subject lands is provided below ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting andlor make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Amendment. If~a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral submission at the public meeting or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed Amendment is adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, you must make a written request to the address below. The amendment proposed will rezone the subject lands from the Mineral Aggregate Resource Two (MAR2) to the Institutional (I) Zone for a parcel of land, which was created by Consent Application 2007-B-30. The rezoning of the subject lands was imposed as a condition of consent, which will be added to 1058 Bass Lake Side Road. No new building lot is proposed as a result of this consent/ rezoning application. Elementary students residing in this area may attend W.R.
