2002-091 To accept and dedicate for use as a Public Highway certain lands within the Township of Oro-Medonte THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE BY-LAW NO. 2002-091 e Being a By-law to Accept and Dedicate for Use as a Public Highway Certain Lands within the Township of Oro-Medonte WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.MA5, Section 191(1), as amended, authorizes the Council of a municipality to pass a by-law for acquiring any lands required for the purposes of the municipality; AND WHEREAS Section 297(1) of the said Municipal Act, provides for the establishing, widening and laying out of highways; AND WHEREAS Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte deems it expedient to acquire the hereinafter described lands for widening purposes and to dedicate the said lands for use as a public highway; e Part of the East half Lot 17, Concession 7, and Part of Lots 18 & 19, Concession 7, in the Geographic Township of Oro, now in the Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe and more particularly described as Part 1 on Plan 51R-21510 NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows: 1. That the acquisition of the lands described as Part of the East half Lot 17, Concession 7, and Part of Lots 18 & 19, Concession 7, in the Geographic Township of Oro, now in the Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe and more particularly described as Part 1 on Plan 51R-21510 be and is hereby authorized and approved: 2. That the Original Road Allowance between Concession 7 & 8 between the East half of Lot 16, Concession 7 and the East half of Lot 20, Concession 7, Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe be widened over Part of the East half Lot 1 7, Concession 7, and Part of Lots 18 & 19, Concession 7, in the Geographic Township of Oro, now in the Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe and more particularly described as Part 1 on Plan 5lR- 21510. e 3. That the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute all such documentation as may be required to give effect to the foregoing. 4. That this by-law shall come into force and take effect on the date of its final passing. Read a first and second time this 4th day of September, 2002. Read a third time and finally passed this 4th day of September, 2002.
