OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte will hold a Public
Meeting on Wednesday bctober 10 2007 at 7:00 p.mr• in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose
of the public meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law, under
Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P. 13.
THE PURPOSE of the Zoning ey-law Amendment is to rezone a portion of the (ands described as Part
of the West half of Lot 8, Concession 3 (former Township of Oro), municipally known as 2105 Line 2
North. The subject land is proposed to be rezoned from the Rural Residential Two (RUR2) Zone to the
Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) Zone. The applicant was granted consent to sever by the Committee of
Adjustment on July 19, 2007 (Consent Application 2007-B-19). The rezoning of the subject lands was
imposed as a condition of consent.
A KEY MAP illustrating the location of the subject lands is provided below.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in
support of or in opposition to the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a
decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral
submission at the public meeting or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed
Amendment is adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal.
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect to the proposed Zoning
By-law Amendment, you must make a written request to the address below.

Thank you for circulating Notice of the Public Meeting for the proposed Zoning By-law
Amendment for the above-noted property to this office. The amendment proposed will
rezone the subject (ands from the Rural Residential Two (RUR2) Zone to the
Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) Zone which was a condition imposed by Consent Application
2007-B-19.
Elementary students residing in this area may attend W.R. Best Memorial Public School and
secondary students will be bussed to Eastview Secondary School.
