Nomination and Election of Chairman The Secretary-Treasurer opened the floor for nominations for the position of Chairman for the year 2001 Moved by Allan Johnson, seconded by Ken Robbins That Dave Edwards be nominated for the position of Chairman. Moved by Al Pross, seconded by Allan Johnson That the nominations for the position of chairman be closed. The Secretary-Treasurer asked Mr. Edwards if he would stand for the position of • Chairman and Mr. Edwards agreed. Mr. Edwards then assumed the chair for the remainder of the meeting. (a) Letter from Barb and Paul Miller re: Concession 10, Pt of Lot 20 (Oro) Moved by Ken Robbins, seconded by Al Pross "THAT the Secretary-Treasurer respond to the Millers indicating the relevant policies of Section D2.3.1 which are required to be completed and submitted with their application for consent." Carried. (b) Letter from Ian Bender, County of Simcoe re: Potential Meeting Moved by Allan Johnson, seconded by Ken Robbins "THAT the Secretary-Treasurer send a letter to invite Mr. bender to attend an upcoming meeting of the Committee." Carried. (c) Ontario Association of Committees of Adjustment Newsletter • Moved by Al Pross, seconded by Allan Johnson "THAT the Secretary-Treasurer register all members of the Committee for the March 30, 2001 seminar in Trenton." Carried. 3. Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest None declared. 4. Hearings: 9:30 A-1/01 Wayne Hickling Line 15 North Conc 1, Plan 910, Pt Lot 26 (Orillia) In Attendance: Wayne Hickling, Applicant, and Elliot and Allison Sheppard, Neighbours Decision Moved by, Allan Johnson seconded by, Albert Pross "That the Committee hereby GRANT Minor Variance Application A-1/O1 subject to the following conditions: 1. That a sketch of survey/real property report prepared by an Ontario Land Siuveyor be submitted to the Township once the construction reached grade level; 2. That the setbacks be in conformity with the dimensions as set out in the application, as submitted; 3. That the Simcoe County District Health Unit approve of the application, in writing; 4. That the appropriate building permit be obtained from the Township's Chief Building Official only after the Committee's decision becomes final and binding, as provided for within the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, aP. 13; 5.
