MINOTES
TIIESDAY MARCH 12 1996 AT 7:00 P.M.
Present: Susan Leigh, Peter Wigham, Allan Baker, Garry Fell,

Cotton, Mayor Ian Beard (Ex Officio)

1. Chairman Garry Fell called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

3. MINIITES
Moved by Councillor Cotton, seconded by Don Bell
That the minutes of the meeting of the Township of Oro-Medonte
Planning Advisory Committee held February 16, 1996 be adopted as
amended being that Peter Wigham be named Vice-Chair.
Carried.
. 4. CORRESPONDENCE
Report PP1996-1 Preparation of New Zoning By-law Terms of Reference
- for information only.
5. nT$CIISSION OF OFFICIAL PLAN CONSIILTANT'S REPORTS
The Consultant's Reports were reviewed on a Chapter by Chapter
basis with members making comments on their concerns. (Report to
follow).
Moved by Susan Leigh, seconded by Betty Veitch
It is recommended that the Historical Committee be provided with a
copy of the Heritage Resources Report for their examination and
comment.
Carried.
Moved by Councillor Cotton, seconded by Susan Leigh
It is recommended to Council that a LACAC {Local Architectural
Conservation Advisory Committee) be formed.
Carried.

Moved by Councillor Cotton, seconded by Allan Baker
It is recommended to Council that the Bass Lake Kame Moraine be
considered a Special Policy Area within the General Development
Policies of the proposed Official Plan.
Carried.
6. OTHER BUSINESB
Andria Leigh explained to the Committee that Mark Stagg will be on
leave while undergoing treatment for throat cancer so she will be
working with the Committee. Mark will be working on the new Zoning
By-law when he returns and will be counting on the Committee for
their input at that time.
At the April 9 PAC meeting Nick McDonald will go over the
Development Proposals which have come in for consideration as part
of the new Official Plan.

That the meeting now be adjourned at 10:40 p.m.
