presented by Will Schouten, President, and Jim McKever, North Simcoe ATV, re: ATVing in
Simcoe County and our Role in the Community be received, that staff liaise with the North
Simcoe ATV representatives to determine the maintained trail systems within the Township
of Oro-Medonte; that staff solicit O.P.P. comments; and that staff report back to Council.

b) Stephen Trafford, Operations Supervisor, Public Access Defibrillation Program
Coordinator, County of Simcoe Paramedic Services re: Public Access Defibrillation
Program [Refer to Item 10a)].
Pamphlet correspondence was distributed to members of Council.

Financial Support.

2. That the Township of Oro-Medonte support the County of Simcoe's position that
the 2-1-1 service should be fully funded by the Province of Ontario.
3. And Further That the Province and the County of Simcoe be notified of the
Township's position.

and further that the Township of Oro-Medonte encourages the County of Simcoe to
support the AMO/ARMC Discussion paper on Strengthening Extended Producer
Responsibilities for Ontario's Blue Box.

Medonte Community Choirs for $8,000.00 be received; and that the Oro-Medonte
Community Choirs be advised that Council is not able to support their request at this
time.

10. EMERGENCY SERVICES:
a) Report No. FD 2007-03, Scott Cowden, Director of Fire and Emergency Services, re:
Public Access Defibrillator Agreement with Simcoe County Paramedic Services at the
Guthrie Arena.

It is recommended that
1. Report No. FD 2007-03, Scott Cowden, Director of Fire and Emergency Services, re:
Public Access Defibrillator Agreement with Simcoe County Paramedic Services at the
Oro-Medonte Community Arena be received and adopted.
2. That the Township of Oro-Medonte enter into an agreement with the Simcoe County
Paramedic Service to provide a Public Access Defibrillator at the Oro-Medonte
Community Arena.
3. That the agreement be reviewed in 2008.
4. That the Clerk bring forward the appropriate by-law for Council's consideration.
5. And Further That the Simcoe County Paramedic Services be notified of Council's
decision.

1-1-Telephone Answering' Community Emergency Reporting Bureau (CERB) Contract,
County of Simcoe-Ontario Provincial Police, 2007-2010.

1. Report No. FD 2007-04, Scott Cowden, Director of Fire and Emergency Services, re:
'9-1-1-Telephone Answering' Community Emergency Reporting Bureau (CERB)
Contract, County of Simcoe-Ontario Provincial Police, 2007-2010 be received and
adopted.
2. That the Township of Oro-Medonte enter into an agreement with Her Majesty the Queen
in right of the Province of Ontario as represented by the Ministry of the Solicitor General
on behalf of the Ontario Provincial Police and the Corporation of the County of Simcoe
for the provision of 9-1-1 CERB services for the period of 2007-2010.
3. That the Township of Oro-Medonte continues to work with the County of Simcoe to
monitor the CERB service provided.
4. And Further That the Clerk bring forward the appropriate by-law for Council's
consideration.

re: Property Matter (Unopened Road Allowance between Concession 6 and 7,
(geographic Township of Oro) Township of Oro-Medonte (Part of PIN #58533-
0179) be received.
2. And Further That the unopened road allowance between Concession 6 and 7
(part of PIN #58533-0179) be permanently closed and that the portions of this
road allowance abutting the property owned by Modco Investments Ltd. as well
as the portion abutting the property owned by G. & L. Holtom be declared
surplus to the needs of the municipality.
