"Whereas one of the top priorities identified at the Special Meeting of Council on January 3, 2007, was to establish an Environmental Protection Advisory Committee - be it resolved that Council authorizes Councillors Agnew, Allison and Coutanche to investigate other successful municipal Environmental Protection Advisory Committees (or ad-hoc groups) and consult with O-M staff with respect to the mission, Terms Of Reference and composition for the proposed O-M Committee -and to report the recommendations to O-M Council and Staff." RECOGNITION OF ACHIEVEMENTS: a) Randy Dunsmore, Achievement of Certified Building Code Official (CBCO). Motion No. C070124-10 Moved by Allison, Seconded by Coutanche Be it resolved that Linda Babulic, Roy Hastings, Tom Kurtz, Mary O'Farrell- Bowers and Larry Tupling be appointed as the 2006-2010 public members of the Planning Advisory Committee; And Further That the appropriate by-law be brought forward for Council's consideration. Carried. Motion No. C070124-11 Moved by Agnew, Seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that Ted Duncan, Bob Gregory, Reta Regelink, Mac Shiells and Carolyn Tripp be appointed as the 2006-2010 public members of the Recreation Technical Support Group; That Councillors Crawford and Coutanche be appointed as the 2007 Council members of the Recreation Technical Support Group; And Further That the appropriate by-law be brought forward for Council's consideration. BY-LAWS: a) By-Law No. 2007-004 A By-law to Appoint a Planning Advisory Committee And to Repeal By-law Nos. 2001-009 and 2004-036 [third reading only]. Motion No. C070124-21 Moved by Coutanche, Seconded by Allison Be it resolved that By-law No. 2007-004 be read a third time, as amended, to delete Section 1 and renumber all subsequent sections accordingly and to delete the sentence which reads "Preference shall be given to provide that one (1) public member represents each of the Township's five (5) wards" and finally passed, be engrossed by the Clerk, signed and sealed by the Mayor.
