06 26 2006 2006-ZBA-07 Public Agenda · NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING. \ FOR PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING BY -LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE 2006-ZBA-07 TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte will hold a Public Meeting on Monday June 26, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose of the public meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. ]990 c. P. 13. THE PURPOSE of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone a portion of the lands described as Part of Lot 20, Concession 4 (former Township of Oro), municipally known as 184 Line 4 North. The subject land is proposed to be rezoned from the Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) Zone to the Residential One (R I) Zone. The applicant was granted consent to sever (lot addition) by the Committee of Adjustment on March 16th 2006 (Consent App]ication 2006-B-05). This lot addition will result in a small portion of an agricultural parcel being added to an abutting residential parcel. As part of the provisional approval, the applicant must apply for and obtain a rezoning, which will create a consistent residential zone for the newly enlarged residential parcel. A KEY MAP illustrating the location of the subject lands is provided below. ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral submission at the public meeting or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed Amendment is adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or pmt of the appeal. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect to the proposed Zoning By- law Amendment, you must make a written request to the addrcss below.
