NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
FOR PROPOSED AMENDMENT
TO THE ZONING BY-LAW
OF THE TOWNSillP OF ORO-MEDONTE

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte will hold a Public
Meeting on Monday May 29, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose of the public
meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law, under Section 34 of the
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P. 13.
THE PURPOSE of this application is to rezone the subject lands from the Rural Industrial (IR) Zone to the
Residential One (RI) Zone in the Township's Zoning By-law. The purpose of the application is to construct a
single detached dwelling.
A KEY MAP illustrating the location of the subject lands is provided below.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of
or in opposition to the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the
Township of Oro-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral submission at the public
meeting or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed Amendment are adopted, the Ontario
Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal.
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Oro-Medonte in respect to the proposed Zoning By-
law Amendment, you must make a written request to the address below.

Thank you for circulating a copy of the above-noted Zoning By-law Amendment
application to this office for review. The applicant is applying to rezone the subject
lands from Rural Industrial (IR) to Residential One (R1) to permit the construction of
one single family dwelling.
Elementary pupils who may reside in this subdivision may attend W. R. Best Public
School and secondary pupils may attend Eastview Secondary School.
Planning staff have no objections to this zoning by-law amendment.
