2005-121 To Amend By-Law 2004-011, as amended, a By-Law to Appoint Representatives to Various Committees/Organizations THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE BY-LAW NO. 2005-121 A By-law to Amend By-law No. 2004-011, as amended, a By-law to Appoint Representatives to Various Committees/Organizations WHEREAS Section 224 of the Municipal Act 2001, S.o. 2001, c.25, as amended, provides that the role of Council is to ensure that administrative practices are in place to implement the decisions of Council; AND WHEREAS Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte did, on the 21 5t day of January, 2004 enact By-law No. 2004-011 to appoint representatives to various committees/organizations; AND WHEREAS Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte did, on the ih day of December, 2004 enact By-Law No. 2004-130 to amend By-Law No. 2004-11. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows: 1. THAT the following be added to Section 2 of By-law No. 2004-011, as amended: 2.c) THAT the following representatives be appointed to the respective committees/organizations for a one-year term effective January 1, 2006: . Site Plan Control Technical Support Group (2): Councillor Paul Marshall Councillor Dan Buttineau . Orillia Chamber of Commerce (1) Councillor Ruth Fountain . Orillia Library Board (1) Councillor John Crawford . Orc-Medonte Chamber of Commerce (1) Councillor John Crawford . Orc-Medonte Community Policing Committee (1) Councillor Dan Buttineau 2. THAT the following be added to Section 3 of By-law No. 2004-011, as amended: 3.c) THAT the following representatives be appointed to the Recreation Technical Support Group effective January 1,2006: . One Year Term (2): Councillor Dan Buttineau Councillor Paul Marshall . Term of Council: Bob Gregory Ian Hunter Lynette Crawford Mader 3. THAT this by-law shall come into force and take effect on its final passing thereof. BY-LAW READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 7TH DAY OF DECEMBER 2005.
