followed by a moment of contemplation.

6. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS:
a) Minutes of Council Meeting of June 1, 2005.

Be it resolved that the minutes of the Council meeting held on June 1, 2005 be
adopted as printed and circulated.

7. RECOGNITION OF ACHIEVEMENTS:
a) Rachel Hunter, re: The Canada-Wide Science Fair 2005.
Rachel Hunter made a presentation regarding her representation in Vancouver
and her Science Fair project. Mayor J. Neil Craig presented a certificate of
recognition to Rachel.

b) Jim Woodford re: recipient of the "Ontario Nature Achievement Award" from
Ontario Nature.
Mayor J. Neil Craig recognized Jim Woodford's receipt, in North Bay, of the
Ontario Nature Achievement Award from Ontario Nature and for his
environmental accomplishments.

Be it resolved that Jim Woodford be recognized for his contribution to the
activities of Ontario Nature and for his commitment to conservation and that a
letter of congratulations, under the Mayor's signature, be forwarded to Mr.
Woodford.

c) Deputy Mayor Hughes, re: Oro-Medonte History Association/Doctor
Recruitment, Ralph & Wendy Hough / Garry Potter.
Deputy Mayor Hughes recognized the success of the Oro-Medonte History
Association's car rally; and also mentioned the funds realized for doctor
recruitment.
8. PUBLIC MEETINGS:
None.
9. DEPUTATIONS:
a) Susan Caroline, Lynette Mader re: Physician Recruitment.
Copies of the slide presentation were distributed to Council.

and that staff prepare a report to Council.

Be it resolved that staff be authorized to correspond with Mr. T. Crawford to
request that he transfer to the Township office any Township Historical material
being stored by him.
