03 21 2005 2005-ZBA-06 Public Agenda NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING FOR PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING BY-LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE 200S-ZBA-06 ( r )"\ TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte will hold a Public Meeting on Monday, March 21, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. The purpose of the public meeting is to obtain public comments on a proposed amendment to the Zoning By-Jaw, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. J 990 c. P. 13. THE PURPOSE of the Zoning By-law Amendment would be to rezone the lands described as Concession 4, West Part Lot 15 (fonnerly within the Township ofOro). The subject land is proposed to be rezoned from the Agricultural/Rural (A/RU) Zone to the Rural Residential Two (RUR2) Zone. The applicant was recently granted consent to sever a rural residential Jot which was approved by the Committee of Adjustment on November 12, 2004 [Consent Application 2004-B-S2]. As part ofthe provisional approval, the applicant must apply for and obtain a rezoning to restrict the use of the severed lot to be used for residential purposes. A KEY MAP illustrating the location of the subject lands is provided below. ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Amendment. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Township ofOro-Medonte in respect of the proposed Amendment does not make oral submission at the pubJic meeting or make written submissions to the Township before the proposed Amendment are adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township ofOro-Medonte in respect to the proposed Zoning By- law Amendment, you must make a written request to the address below.
