Committee of Council Recommendations for (a) to (f)
(a)
Recommendation of Committee of Council that the letter be received and Solicitor for
Mr. P. Perri be advised that once the conveyance of Monk Street to the Township over
the Perri property has been completed the closing of other Roads on Plan 1 will be
pursued.
(b)
Recommendation that the questionnaire for the Audubon Estate Development be presented
to a meeting of Oro Council on August 6th following the matter being further considered
at the next Planning Advisory Committee meeting.
(c)
Recommendation that this be referred to Planning Advisory Committee for their recommendation
to Council.
(d)
Committee of Council recommend that the Site Plan requirements be for the Lagoon and By-
laws be followed up with Mr. Squire by the Staff and report of same be presented to Council.
(e)
Staff to investigate the entire cost involved and O.P.P. authority with respect to control
by O.P.P.
( f)
The matter of sale of dog licences be pursued with Malcolm Jackson.

(a)
Oro Lions Club
i) Oro Fest Dance - August 17,1985
ii) 8eer Garden at Barrie Speedway Event September 6,7,8, 1985
iii) Beer Garden at Barrie Speedway Event September 28, 29, 1985
requesting resolution of no objection to issuance of a Special Occasion
permit.
Committee of Council recommend that Council advise that the Barrie Speedway and Oro Lions Club
be advised that Oro Council would have no objection to issuance of a Special Occasion Permit
to the Oro and District Lions Club for dates agreed upon by the Barrie Speedway and Oro Lions
Club.
(b)
Solicitor for Holding Company of Russel Sparrow property East Part Lot 9, Concession 6,
Township of Oro - invitation to submit Offer to Purchase.
Committee of Council recommend that the Solicitor for the Holding Company for East Part Lot
9, Concession 6, be advised that the Oro Council are not in a position to entertain the
purchase in 1985 but would request a quotation of price for same which may then be recom-
mended to the 1986-89 Council.
(c)
Request by Administrator/Treasurer to attend Municipal Finance Conference - September
25, 26, 27, 1985 at London, Ontario. Registration prior to August 15, 1985 $115.00
after that date $140.00.
Committee of Council recommend the Oro Council authorize that the Administrator/Treasurer
attend the Finance Officers Conference and Registration for same be completed.
( d)
Complaint from Mrs. Weatherbie re: noise from 8arrie Speedway - telephone to Reeve -
Clerk presented letters from Mrs. Weatherbie and Township letter to her following an
attendance at Committee of Council meeting.
Committee of Council recommend that the Clerk to respond to Mrs. Weatherbie's complaint.

Oro Township Library Board Committee
Letter to Linda Husband re: member to replace Norma Sanderson and reply from Linda Husband -
Clerk advised copy of letter had been forwarded to Joan Banbury, Secretary suggesting she
contact Linda Husband as requested.
Resolution for Mrs. Linda Husband to replace Norma Sanderson on the Oro Library Committee be
presented to the next regular meeting of Council.
(f)
Exchange of Lands - Hawkestone Police Village and Ralph Leigh
- Transfer in duplicate from Township of Oro to Ralph Leigh and from Ralph Leigh to
Hawkestone
- By-law to authorize the transaction (Review)
Clerk to obtain a resolution from P.V. Trustees requesting the transfer of lands.

By-law to register on title agreement for improvement to embankment - Lakeshore Promenade,
Plan 626.
Presented copy of By-law and individual Agreements for the four proponents as prepared by
D.S. White, Q.C. Solicitor.
That the By-law be presented to the next meeting of Council.

Verbal Report of Administrator re: (mileage) kilometrage
Committee of Council recommend that the Treasurer to review kilometrage submitted and present
same.

Road Committee
Road Committee held a meeting July 22, 1985
Fire Committee - Chairman, of Fire Committee advised a written report could be presented to
next meeting of Committee of Council.
Parks & Recreation Committee - Day Camp Program progressing well. Administrator and Park Supt.
to prepare report for Parks & Recreation Committee from which
recommendation will be presented to Council.
Reeve Davie reported on matters considered at Simcoe County Health Unit with respect to
testing of wells in the County.
W.D.S. Committee - Chairman advised that the Tenders for the building at the land Fill Site had
been advertised.
