COUNCIL CHAMBERS - APRIL 9, 1981
COMMITTEE OF COUNCIL MEETING
Committee of Council met at 7:10 p.m. for the first Committee Meeting for April,
with all members present.
WASTE DISPOSAL SITE
Matters on Waste Disposal Site were discussed by Council.
(a) burning of brush, etc.
(b) keys to the site
(c) tires for the front end loader
(d) wages of Supt. - the .05ç per hour allowed to Road
- not allowed questioned by Waste Disposal Supt.

Memorial Park was discussed
$5.00 per set
That the Park Committee recommend that the rates for entrance fee to
Memorial Park be increased this year from $2.00 per car and $2.00 per person
on Sundays and holidays to:
(suggested) $5.00 per car and driver and $2.00 per person
" $10.00 per car and driver and $2.00 per person
(to be finalized after public meeting as suggested by Deputy Reeve Davie).
ROAD COMMITTEE
No report on this program.
COMMITTEES
It was recommended that Thelma Halfacre and Allan Johnson be members of the Arena
Committee, Allan Johnson replacing Stephen Davie and Thelma Halfacre replace
Reeve Arbour.
Also that Allan Johnson replace R.S. Arbour as chairman of the Fire and Building
Committee and as Vice Chairman of the Waste Disposal.
Clerk brought up the matter of re-division of assessment and electoral polls
- recommend he contact Assessment Office.
