CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE
TO REGULATE LAND USE PURSUANT TO SEC'rION
35 OF THE PLANNING ACT
'lIAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation.of the
Township of Medon te, has passed By-Law # 82-18 on the 13th day
of
JuJy
1982, pursuant to the provisions of Section 35
of The Planning Act.
1.
The following Schedules are attached hereto:
Schedule 1, being a copy of By-Law # 82-18
2. Schedule 2, consisting of the following:
(i) An explanation of the purpose and effect of the
by-law.
(ii) A key-map which shows the location of the lands
to which the by-law applies.
3. Schedule 3, being a statement from the Clerk of the
Township of Medonte.
ANY PERSON INTERESTED MAY, within twenty-one days after
the date of the mailing of this notice, file with the Clerk of
the Corporation of the Township of Medonte, notice of an objec-
tion to the approval of the said By-Law or ~art thereof together
with details of all or that portion of the By-Law to which there
is objection and detailed reasons thereof.
ANY PERSON wishing to support the application for approval
of the By-Law may, within twenty-one days after the date of the
mailing of this notice, file with the Clerk of the Corporation of
the Township of Medonte, notice of support of the application for
approval of the said By-Law.
IF no notice of objection has been filed with the Clerk
of the Corporation of the Township of Medonte within the time pro-
vided, the By-Law thereupon comes into effect and does not require
the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board.

Board and the By-Law does not come into effect until approved by
the Ontario Municipal Board.

BY-LAW # 82-18
has the following purpose and effect:
The subject property is presently designated as SR
(ski resort) and EP (environmental protection) according to Sche-
dule "c" of the Medonte Zoning By-Law 1337, as amended, which
allows a seasonal chalet residential use.
The new Official Plan, which came into effect on the
14th day of December, 1978, designates the subject property as
Permanent Chalet Residential District, which allows a permanent
chalet residential lise.
This Zoning Amendment is being implemented to conform
to the use and designations of the subject area set forth in the
official plan, so that residents in the approved Horseshoe valley
Subdivisions may occupy their dwellings as permanent resi-
dential units rather than as seasonal chalet residential units as
presently set out in By-Law 1337, as amended, and makes the proviL
sions of By-Law 1337, as amended, applicable to properties in the
Permanent Chalet Residential District, as shown in the Medonte Of-
ficial Plan.

By-law imposing special annual drainage rates upon land in respect of which money is borrowed under The Tile
Drainage Act, 1971.
Whereas owners of land in the municipality have applied to the council under The Tile Drainage Act, 1971, for
loans for the purpose of constructing sub-surface drainage works on such land; and whereas the council has upon
their application lent the owners the total sum of $ 3,400.00 to be repaid with interest by means
of rates hereinafter imposed:
Be it therefore enacted, by the council, that annual rates as set out in the Schedule attached hereto are hereby
imposed upon such land as described for a period of ten years, such rates to be levied and collected in the same
manner as taxes.
