NOTICE OF THE PASSING OF A BY-LAW BY THE
CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE
TO REGULATE LAND USE PURSUANT TO SECTION
35 OF THE PLANNING ACT
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of
the Township of Medonte, has passed By-Law # 1416
on the
27th day of July, 1981, pursuant to the provisions of Section
35 of The Planning Act.

The following Schedules are attached hereto:
1.
Schedule 1, being a copy of By-Law #
2.
Schedule 2, consisting of the following:
(i) An explanation of the purpose and effect of
the by-law.
(ii) A key-map which shows the location of the lands
to which the by-law applies.
3.
Schedule 3, being a statement from the Clerk of the
Township of Medonte.
ANY PERSON INTERESTED MAY, within twenty-one days after
the date of the mailing of this notice, file with the Clerk of the
Corporation of the Township of Medonte, notice of an objection to
the approval of the said By-Law or part thereof together with de-
tails of all or that portion of the By-Law to which there is objec-
tion and detailed reasons thereof.
ANY PERSON wishing to support the application for approval
of the By-Law may, within twenty-one days after the date of the mail-
ing of this notice, file with the Clerk of the Corporation of the
Township of Medonte, notice of support of the application for approval
~ of the said By-Law.
IF no notice of objection has been filed with the Clerk
of the Corporation of the Township of Medonte within the time pro-
vided, the By-Law thereupon comes into effect and does not require
the approval of the Ontario :Municipal Board.

IF a notice of objection has been filed with the
Clerk of the Corporation of the Township of Medonte within
the time provided, the By-Law shall be submitted to the Ontario
Municipal Board and the By-Law does not come into effect until
approved by the Ontario Municipal Board.

AMENDMENT to By-Law 1337, the zoning by-law for the Township
of Medonte, rezoning as C2 (Highway Commercial) the land des-
cribed and outlined in red on Schedule "A" hereto, formerly
zoned H (Holding) as designated in Schedule "0" to By-Law 1337,
and presently designated as a Highway Commercial District in
the Official Plan for the Township of Medonte
BE IT ENACTED AS A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF
MEDONTE AS FOLLOWS:
1.
THAT Schedule "0" to By-Law 1337, passed the 2nd day
of .Hay, 1977, as heretofore amended, is hereby further amended
by rezoning as C2 (Highway Commercial) the land described and
outlined in red in Schedule "A" hereto, formerly shown in Schedule
"0" to By-Law 1337 aforesaid as H (Holding) and presently designated
as a Highway Commercial District in the Official Plan for the Town-
ship of Medonte.
2.
THAT Schedule "A" attached hereto forms part of this
By-Law.
3.
THAT this By-Law shall come into force and take effect
upon being passed by Council, subject to the provisions of Ontario
Regulation 78/80.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally
passed this 27th

STATEMENT OF CONFORMITY TO THE OFFICIAL PLAN FOR THE CORPO:RATION
OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE
I, GARY CUNNINGTON, the Clerk of the Corporation of
the Township of Medonte, have reviewed By-Law # 1416
of the
Corporation of the Township of Medonte.
I am of the opinion that the By-Law is in conformity
with the Official Plan in effect for the Township of Medonte Planning
Area.
