SWerdon and Road Supt. Fred Haughton. Carried. Motion No.4 Moved by Burton, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Clerk-Administrator tender for the collection of garbage with the closing date of Monday, April 7, 1986 at 4:30 p.m. Carried. Motion No.5 Moved by Burton, seconded by Halfacre It is recommended that the correspondence from the Ministry of Environment re: Official Plan Amendment No. 22 be received and filed. Carried. Motion No.6 Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Swerdon It is recommended that the report from the Ontario Humane Society for January be received and filed. Carried. Motion No.7 Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Clerk-Administrator advertise for the sale of Dog Licences and arrange for their distribution at various locations throughout the To.Vl1ship. Carried. Motion No.8 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Swerdon It is recommended that the Township request an update on the status of the Parks Assistant Act in relation to the contribution made by the Province to tJ1e Oro Memorial Park; and further that the Clerk respond to Mrs. Drake indicating that the position of the Tovmship will be reviewed once the Province has responded to the Municipality's request on the status of the Park. Carried. Motion No.9 Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Clerk correspond with the COtmty of Sim::oe to petition the Province to designate Highway #93 as a Heritage Road. Carried. Motion No. 10 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the tVvD recommendations from the History Canrnittee Meeting of F'ebnlary 10, 1986 in relation to t.he purchase of books and the resolution of $800.00 for the Oro Township History Committee be referred to the 1986 Budget. Carried. Motion No. 11 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Clerk invite the representatives of the South Lake Simcoe Conservation Authority to the Committee of the v-Jhole Meeting to be held on March 26, 1986. Small be appointed as Secretary-Treasurer of the Oro Ccmnunity Centres, Parks and Recreation Committee. Carried. Motion No. 13 Moved by Burton, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that Council agree with L~e recommendation of the Oro Township Committee of Adjustment authorizing the attendance of all members of the Committee of Adjustment and the Secretary, to a one day Seminar to be held on March 31, 1986 at the Ontario Room, McDonald Block, Queen's Park, at a cost of $30.00 per delegate. Carried. Motion No. 14 Moved by Halfacre, seconded by SWerdon It is recommended that Council agree with the recommendation of the Oro Township Committee of Adjustment authorizing membership to the O.A.C.A. for each member at a cost of $45.00 each. Carried. Motion No. 15 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Annual 1985 Return as cŒ1pleted and surrmarized on OB-MR-69 and Annual Petition for Subsidy Œ1der the Provisions of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act on ex-penditures made during 1985, along with other necessary documentation, be accepted and approved, with petition showing 1,047,600 eligible for subsidy of 612,300.00 of which 472,100.00 has been received leaving a balance of 140,100.00 receivable. Carried. Motion No. 17 -- Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Confidential Report fram the Clerk-Administrator re: the position of Township Treasurer be received and adopted. Carried. Motion No. 18 Moved by Halfacre, seonced by Burton It is ræommendedthat the Confidential Report from the Clerk-Administrator re: the position of Township Plæmer be received and adopted. Carried. Motion No. 19 Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Burton It is recarmended that the Camlittee of .the Whole Meeting scheduled for February 26, 1986 be cancelled.
