It is recommended that three hand-carved signs to be placed in
Oro Station free of charge as designed and described by Mr. Doug
Renshaw be accepted provided that the County approve the signs
and location. Carried.

It is recommended that representatives of the Ministry of Municipal
Affairs be invited to a future Council Meeting to discuss the status
of Police Villages. Carried.

It is recommended that Reeve Drury, Cow1cillor Burton and Councillor
Swerdon attend the seminars for Municipal Councillors to be held in
<:Men Sound on May 30th and 31st, 1986. Carried.

It is recommended that the Clerk correspond with the Advisory Committee
on Municipal Elections indicating that a person who submits a
nomination for æ1 office, that person shall pay a deposit of $100.00
refundable if he or she obtains 10% of the vote. Carried.

It is recommended that Paul Kitchen be allowed to address the Committee
on a development proposal. Carried.

It is recormnended that the quotation from Deluxe Janitorial Service for
the cleaning of the Municipal Building on a twice weekly basis at a
cost of $65.00 per week be accepted for a period ending June 30, 1986
and further that the Clerk advertise for competitive quotations to
be reviewed in June. Carried.

It is recommended that the Administrator/Clerk and the Township
Planning Consultant make application to the appropriate Ministries
for a study to be conducted to determine the best location for
industrial and commercial development. Carried.

It is recommended that correspondence from the Ministry of Transportation
and Communications in regards to a review of privatization practices
in municipal transportation be referred to the Road Superintendent
for the information requested. Carried.
Motion No.9
Moved by Burton, seconded by Halfacre
It is recommended that the 1986 Township of Oro Roads Department
Budget be adopted as follows: $570,000.00 for maintenance and
$406,000.00 for construction, for a total of $976,000.00 and
further a carry-over expenditure of $35,000.00 on the following
project: paving on 15/16 Side Road be approved. Carried.

It is recommended that the Administrator-Clerk apply for supplementarJ
funds in the amount of $75,000.00 to be used for the purchase of
a 6 ton plow/sander truck with the Township share being $12,500.00.
Carried.

It is recommended that the Administrator-Clerk correspond with
Mr. Eric Money of the Barrie Flea Market Association outlining
Motion No. 24 of the March 5,1986 Council Meeting, and further
that he advise Mr. Money that this motion is a follow-up to the
Township Solicitor David White's letter of March 6,1986. Carried.

It is recommended that the Administrator-Clerk respond to the letter
from Stevenson-McCluskey re: W 1/2 Lot 21, Concession 3, indicating
that the Township would look favourably on a re-zoning application
to commercial depending on the quality of the proposed development.
Carried.

It is recommended that the following persons attend the presentation
of the Proposed Foodland Policy Statement to be held in the Town
of Richmond Hill on Tuesday f April 1, 1986: Robert Drury, Robert
Swerdon, David Caldwell, the Planning Director and Administrator-Clerk.

by the Department Heads prior to presentation to the Plæ1ning
Advisory Committee and Council. Carried.
