Eric Money, Brian Money, Robert Reive, Bruce Hicks, Don Hubbert, Allan Elliott representing the Barrie Automotive Flea Market Association met with Council in Camera to discuss Official Plan Amendment No. 22. Township Solicitor David White, Township Plæ1Iler Holly Spacek and Township Plæ1Iling Consultant Ron Watkin were also present. II I I II :1 I II " :1 II iI q 'I II II II II II Ii 'I II II !j II !j Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Burton It is recommended that Council endorse the resolution from the Township of Clarence concerning the protection of agricultural programs in free trade negotiations and further the Clerk advise the Township of Clarence that as the Province of Ontario has a vast majority of English speaking residents the English resolution should be stated at the top of the resolution rather than indicating that you consider the rest of the rural Municipalities in Ontario use French as a primary language. Truax to increase his tonnage under Licence No. 820 from 15,000 tonne to 30,000 tonne for a gravel pit located on part of Lot 6 and 7, Concession 10 not be approved until the Township receives the following by way of an agreement or condition of licence: ( a) (b) Hours of operation 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Signs be installed at pit entrances as required by the Township Road Superintendent Asphalt apron be approved at the discretion of the Road Superintendent M.R. Truax pay æ1nually the sum of .04ç/tonne of aggregate extracted by his pit over and above their current licenced limits. Such sum shall be paid to the Township and the funds shall be used fran time to time at the discretion of Council for road maintenance and repair of the defined haul routes. Motion No.5 81,1. : II 1 ,I - Moved by Caldwell, seconded by SWerdon It is recommended that the Oro and District Lions Club be permitted to install lights on the sports field providing the Township Parks and Recreation Committee and Council approve the specifications and location for the installation, and further that all approved construction be done under the approval and supervision of the Township Engineer. Carried. 5(b) 5(c) Motion No.8 Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that we adjourn in-camera at 3 :40 p.m. with representatives of the Barrie Flea Market Association, the Township Solicitor, the Township Plæmer and Plæming Consultant to discuss the possible O.M.B. Hearing with regards to O.P. Amendment No. 22. Carried. ' Motion No.9 Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Committee rise and report from the in-camera meeting at 4:00 p.m. Carried. Motion No. 10 Moved by SWerdon, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Township Solicitor David White contact the lawyer for the Barrie Automotive Flea Market Association and obtain a commi ttment from the Association to pay all costs incurred by the Township in connection with O.P.A. #22 and the Zoning By-law and any O.M.B. Hearing. Carried. Motion No. 11 Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Burton It is recommended that Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro support the application of KISS 95.7 FM to the C.R.T.C. for a FM Licence to serve Simcoe County. Carried. Motion No. 12 Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Administrator/Clerk advertise in both local papers re: availability of property up to 10 acres within a 2 mile radius of the municipal building to be used for municipal purposes, and further response be received by April 15, 1986.
