Oro Council met this evening pursuant to adjournment. at 7:00 p.m. with
the following members present:

Questions
Deputy Reeve Thelma Halfacre questioned the results of Oro Ratepayers
Meeting re: the control of cb<;sin the Township. Also if there was
anything to report on possible free rabies clinic in the near future.
Questioned whether dogs should be allowed at all at Oro Memorial Park.
Reeve Drury introduced two pieces of correspondence:
(a) 1st Oro Scouting Organization re: use of Camnunity Rocm at Arena
(b) Royal Victoria hospital re: tree planting ceremony
Administrator/Clerk tCX)k direction from Council to do the following items:
(a) to insert councillors names and phone numbers in the Township Newsletter
(b) ask for written camnents on the possibility of building a new
municipal building at the Fairgrounds
(c) place new sign in Oro Memorial Park indicating no dogs are allowed

April 16, 1986 and Special Meeting of Monday, April 28, 1986 be confirmed
as presented and circulated. Carried.

Be it resolved that the accounts as presented for the period ending
J\1ay 5, 1986 in the illnount of $54,312.98 plus payroll for the period
ending April 24, 1986 in the amount of $23,273.54 in accordance with
the computer print-out presented to Council be approved for payment.

Be it resolved that U1e Tenders for Janitorial Services be referred to

Be it resolved that the Municipality would agree to an informal meeting
with Hitch House Ltd. as outlined in their correspondence of April 23, 1986
with the following additional staff people, namely the Township Engineer
and Road Superintendent. Carried.

Be it resolved that Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro
supports the position of the S.C.B.E. as outlined in their letter of
April 18, 1986 re: Bill 75; French Language Education. Carried.

Be it resolved that the correspondence from Canadian National Railway

2nd Edition of Letter of Credit at a cost of $45.00 plus applicable

Be it resolved that the Administrator/Clerk and Deputy Clerk be permitted
to attend the A.M.C.T.O. Annual Meeting to be held in Toronto from
June 15-18 inclusive, and further that the Administrator/Clerk be
authorized to attend the Professional Development Seminar in Toronto
June 13-15, 1986. Carried.
