Motion No. 1
Moved by Burton, seconded by SWerdon
Be it resolved that Council in accordance with the Official Plan and
after the holding of the required public meeting in which those
in attendance were provided an opportunity to make their views
known to Council is satisfied that:
(a) the proposed temporary use, that being an automotive flea
market, is temporary and no pennanent structure or buildings
will be erected;
(b) the proposed use of these lands for an automotive flea market
is compatible with the use of the surrounding lands in that the
lands to the south are consistently used throughout the sumner
months as a speedway and to the north Highway 11 and corrmercial
uses exist;
(c) the size of the parcel of land is adequate for the automotive
flea market;
(d)- the services (water, sewage disposal) are sufficient to service
this temporary use. Water and sewage disposal under the
authority of the Health Unit and Ministry of the Environment
have been adequate on previous occasions when this event
was held and Council feels they will be adequate for this event;

also employs off duty policemen as security officers;
(f) the traffic entering the site for the most part will be
restricted to the northerly end of the concession road adjacent
to Highway 11. All advertisements of the Flea Market indicated
by Kep Maps traffic routes to the event are via Highway 11.
