Reeve Robert E. Drury chaired the meeting.
Reeve Drury opened the meeting with a prayer.

Deputations
7:25 p.m. Applications for tax adjustrrents: under Sections 495 and
496 of The Municipal Act were presented to Council.
7:30 p.m. Mrs. S. Irvine with the consent of Council advised Council
of her feelings on i.n:plernenting a By-law on the discharge
of fireanns in urban areas of the Township.
7:40 p.m. Carol Oitrrent of The Institute of EnvirorutEntal Research
presented the report on the Township of Oro' s Canprehensi ve
Recreation Master Plan.

Questions
Councillor Burton questioned the allocation of The provincial
Recreation Grant under Regulation 517.
Councillor Caldwell informed Council of a meeting with Minor Hockey
concerning the use of The Arena Ccmnuni ty Hall Kitchen in connection
with the agreement to operate the concession.
Reeve Drury asked if a resolution would be required for his per diem
in regards to his attendance in Toronto at The Ministry of Municipal
Affairs to discuss The Official Plan Update on November 6, 1986.

Assessors of The Simcoe County Assessrrent Office (Region No. 16) for
assessrrent reduction, be accepted and the appropriate tax adjustments be
applied. Carried.

this lot was demolished in 1985, and therefore entitled to a
cancellation of building taxes fran January 1 to December 31, 1986.
Taxes will be cancelled on the residential public assessrrent of
$24.00.

carry on business re: reduced area, at this location, it is
recarmended that taxes to the owner be cancelled on a conversion

Part Lot 16, concession 14, and further, the Clerk and Reeve be
authorized to sign the applications to purchase and the Solicitor
prepare the necessary By-law. Carried.

fran Mr. Raymond Dubeau, subject to the Township Solicitor's approval

Be it resolved that the Administrator/Clerk respond to The Confidential
Letter fran Solicitor A.W. Dick, indicating the land in the Township
that may be available that is currently zoned industrial. Carried.

Be it resolved that Council return all three offers to the respective
purchasers unaccepted to The Purchasers' Agents as either the terms or
irrevocable date were not acceptable on pt Lot 37, Concession 1 Oro
Township. Council will entertain at its' next Meeting December 1,
1986 new valid offers that are received by 4 :30 p.m. December 1, 1986
at the Township Administration Office and having a irrevocable date of
December 2, 1986 at 11:59 p.m. Carried.

of Council held on November 17, 1986 be introduced and read a first
and second tiIre and numbered 86-86. Carried.
That By-law No. 86-86 be read a third tiIre, finally passed, be engrossed
by the Clerk, signed and sealed by the Reeve. Carried.
