7:00 P.M.
Fire Chief, Paul Eenhoorn was present to discuss a letter frcm the
City of Barrie with regards to the City's proposal to provide the
TCMnShip of Oro with a Fire Dispatch Service.
7:30 P.M.
Mr. Doug Lewis, M.P. was present to discuss the problems of Mr.
Bert Schumacher with regards to bringing Elk into Canada frcm the
United States to his Buffalo and Elk Wildlife Preserve located in
Oro TCMnship.
8:00 P.M.
Mrs. Joe williams representing the Barrie Public Library Board,
along with three other Board Members and the Library Director, Mrs.
G. Mullen made a presentation to Council on a proposed 1987
Library Services Agreerœnt to provide Library Services to the
Township.
8:55 P.M.
Mr. R. W . Powell, Solicitor and Mr. David Viney representing the
Hardwood Hills Ski Club made a presentation to Council regarding
the use of portions of the TCMnship's Land Filled Site located on
Lot 10, Concession 6 as part of their trail system.

(a)
Deputy Reeve Thelma Halfacre enquired as to the TCMnship's position about
a TCMer in the TCMnShip for a Fire Dispatch System as the County nCM appears to
in need of such a facility.
(b)
The Administrator/Clerk asked when Council wished to review the By-law To Approve
the Official Plan Amendment concerning SUgarbush - the Administrator/Clerk was
directed to request Mr. Ron Watkin to appear before Council at their next Meeting
and also to have the By-law placed on the Agenda.

Itl is recommended that the Administrator/Clerk advise Council of the City of Barrie
th~t the Township of Oro is prepared to pay up to $2.00 per capata or $14,460.00 per
fo~ the City of Barrie to provide the Township of Oro a Fire Dispatching Service; and
f~her, that the Township of Oro is prepared to pay it's share on a per capata basis
with other interested Municipalities who may beceme part of this Service, and further,
th~t the Township of Oro requires a response to the above offer by Februray 27,1987
fo~ budget purposes. Carried.

Itl is recommended that the Administrator/Clerk be allowed to hire two students under
thß Involvement in Municipal Administration Program sponsored by the Ministry of
Mupicipal Affairs, and further, one student shall be a Planning student and may be
hired as soon as possible at a salary not to exceed $220.00 per week. The second
student shall be a Law student, who's salary shall not exceed $220.00 per week.

Mê/.urice Truax to supply a Garbage Pick-up once a week by way of providing a six cubic
y¥d dumpster for the Residences of RCMebourne Beach, located near Bass Lake at a cost
o:lf $10.00 per week to be equally divided between the 17 Residents and further, that
~e charge shall not be lower than the present Residential Garbage Pick-up cost.
