Mr. Tan Chillman addressed Council with regards to the
Ontario Provincial Police towing away vehicles which
were parked on County Road 27, while ice fishing on the
weekend of January 30 - February 1, 1987. Mr.
Chillman's specific request to Council was that they
request the County to properly sign the County Road, and
he suggested that signs with a white background 'WOuld be
very hard for motorists to observe in Winter conditions.

Be it resolved that the honorarium be reduced from the proposed amount of
$7,800.00 to $7,245.00 (an increase of 5% above last year), for Councillor
Robert Swerdon.

to sign County Road 27 and Lakeshore Road indicating parking at Shellswell and
Oro Memorial Parks for ice fisherrren. The Administrator/Clerk responded
indicating that the Roads Superintendent's Report on the above noted matter
had been defeated by the Carmi ttee of the Whole Meeting held Monday, January
26, 1987.
