( a)
The Administrator/Clerk took direction to review Section 38 of
the Public Library Act to varify whether or not the Municipality
could request the names of the individuals within the TCMnship
who had taken out Barrie Library Board rœmbership cards.
(b)
The Administrator/Clerk also took direction to invite Mr. Bill
Staines to appear before the next Parks and Recreation Committee
Meeting with reference to the Rugby Recreation Project.

It is recommended that Treasurer Henry Sander be permitted to attend
the Municipal Lot Levy Accounting Seminar to be held in Toronto on
Wednesday, April 15, 1987 and further, that the registration fee and
associated travel expenses be assumed by the Township. Carried.

It is recœrnended that the correspondence fran Frank CCMan Co. Ltd.
re: improvement of unopened road allowance be referred to the Township
Solicitor for a recommendation on the two alternatives suggested in
the above noted correspondence. Carried.

It is recon:rnended that the memorandum frcm Treasurer Henry Sander
be received and further, that Joan Fletcher travel to Ottawa by
way of personal vehicle. Carried.

It is recommended that the report frcm Robert W. Small, Administrator/Clerk
with reference to the Disclaimer on the Canpliance Form be received
and adopted. Carried.

It is recommended that the correspondence fran Shirley Partridge
with regards to the Old Barrie Road and Concession 3 be referred to
the Road Superintendent and the County for a report back to Council.

It is recommended that the Administrator/Clerk send a copy of the
resolution with regards to the Petition requesting maintenance on
the Oro-orillia Town Line to the Township of Orillia. Carried.
Motion No.7
Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Halfacre
It is recommended that the correspondence received frcm Mrs. Judy
Catania, Chairperson, Simcoeside Ratepayers Association, be
received and a copy sent to the Road Superintendent Fred Haughton,
and further, the Administrator/Clerk advise Mrs. Catania that
Council would be pleased to hear their deputation on Tuesday,
April 2l, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. Carried.

It is recommended that the correspondence frcm Stephen Wcx:>drCM
concerning payment for photocopied material be referred to
the Administrator/Clerk and Township Planner for a report to
the Planning Advisory Committee meeting to be held on April 23,

It recommended that Council adjourn In-Camera @ 7:32 p.m. with

It is recommended that Council rise and report frcm In-Camera at
7:55 p.m. Carried.

It is recommended that Township Planner Holly Spacek be allowed to
attend the Canadian Institute of Planners Conference to be held
in Toronto frcm July 5th to 8th and her registration and associated
expenses that were included in the 1987 Budget be approved. Carried.

It is recommended that the quotation frcm Dyrnent-Stubley Printers
Ltd. to set-type, prepare film, and approximately 150 half tonnes
frcm prints supplied by the Township of Oro History Committee, which
are to be folded, collated, perfect bound, trÍlrl'Ied, and packed in
cartons for the amount of $4.37 per copy as per quotation dated
February 24, 1987 and according to confirmation for 2,500 copies on
March 13, 1987 in the amount of $12,l75.00 plus $370.00 for plastic
laminated cover for a total of $12,545.00 be approved, and further
that the Administrator/Clerk is to contact Dyrnent-Stubley Printers
and authorize the above noted purchase. Carried.

It is recaTITEnded that the request frcm the Oro History Committee
to hire a private typist to type the update of the Story of Oro
be approved at a rate of $2.00 per page, double spaced, and further
the Township will supply a typewriter for the above noted typing.

It is recommended that the minutes of the Oro History Committee
meeting held March 11, 1987 be received. Carried.

It is recommended that the Corporation of the Township of Oro accept
the Barrie Public Library's camprcmised Offer for the 1987 Contract
for Library Services between the Barrie Public Library Board and
the Township of Oro in the amount of $34,204.00 and further, the
Administrator/Clerk correspond with the Barrie Public Library and
arrange a tour of their facilities.

It is recommended that the report from the Road Superintendent
Fred Haughton be received and further, that he prepare a Job Description,
together with suggested hourly rates used by other Municipalities
in consultation with the Administrator/Clerk. Carried.

It is recommended that the Road Superintendent's recommendation for
changes in working hours for the Roads Department Staff be received
and adopted. Carried.

It is recommended that the confidential correspondence frcm Karl Drew
be received and further that the Township Solicitor be directed to
correspond with Mr. & Mrs. Drew inrnediately, and further that he make
every effort to expedite the proposed sale by the Township. Carried.
