New Business
(a)
The Deputy-Clerk was requested to invite Township Solicitor, David
S. White, to appear before the next Council Meeting to discuss
Dunsmore property access to Line 2 and also the confidentiality of
Township land transactions.
(b)
The Deputy-Clerk was requested to contact Mr. Frank Hutcheson
of the Canada Day Committee to see if there are any activities
which Council are to participate in.
(c)
The Disposition of the Guthrie Hall was discussed by Council
and a motion will be brought forward at the next regular
Council Meeting.
Note:
The Committee of the Whole Meeting was recessed at 12:25 p.m. for
lunch. The Committee of the Whole reconvened at 1:30 p.m.
to continue with their Agenda.

Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Halfacre
It is recommended that the Administrator/Clerk acknowledge the correspondence
from the Lamont Beach Ratepayers Assoc. and further, that he advise the
Ratepayers Association that Council will proceed to sell properties
identified by the Township's Master Plan and Recreation Study as surplus
to the Township requirements. Carried.

It is recommended that the Report from Fire Chief Paul Eenhoorn concerning
the May 1987 Fire Department Activity Report be received. Carried.
Motion No.3
Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Caldwell
It is recommended that the Report from Fire Chief Paul Eenhoorn concerning
the purchase of an air compressor be received and adopted. Carried.
Motion No.4
Moved by Swerdon, seconded by Burton
It is recommended that the correspondence from CN Railway re: Crossing
Devices for Colborne Street be received and approved, and further that the
Administrator/Clerk be directed to return the signed copies to CN.
Carried.

Moved by Burton, seconded by Swerdon
It is recommended that the correspondence from Mrs. E. Fox concerning
the Bass Lake Park Development be referred to the Parks and Recreation
Committee. Carried.

It is recommended that minutes of the Oro History Committee Meeting
held June 9, 1987 be received. Carried.
Motion No.7
Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Caldwell
It is recommended that the Lease Agreement prepared by Solicitor
David S. White be approved and further the Administrator/Clerk
advise Mr. Buckley of its contents. Carried.
Motion No.8
Moved by Burton, seconded by Swerdon
It is recommended that the correspondence from David S. White re:
Letter of Credit for Shelswell Subdivision be received and further,
that the Road Superintendent Fred Haughton be authorized to use the
proceeds from the cashed Letter of Credit for work outlined in his
1987 Budget on Shelswell Boulevard other than paving, and further
that he be authorized to negotiate with the Developer for Harbourwood
Subdivision to ascertain a quotation and method that would allow
the Municipality to pave Shelswell Boulevard. Carried.

It is recommended that the Report from Road Superintendent Fred Haughton
concerning Plan 51R-1379 (Hastings Electric) be received, and
further that Township Solicitor David White review this Report and
make recommendations to Council on further procedures. Carried.
Motion No. 10
Moved by Halfacre, seconded by Caldwell
It is recommended that Council go into In-Camera @ 11:50 a.m. with
Mr. Brian Wakeman. Carried.
Motion No. 11
Moved by Burton, seconded by Swerdon
It is recommended that Council rise and report from In-Camera @
12:25 p.m. Carried.

It is recommended that advertisements be placed in both local papers
on June 24th and June 27th, 1987 of a Public Meeting to be held at
the Old Town Hall on Tuesday, June 30th, 1987 at 8:00 p.m. for public
input for the New Municipal Building. Carried.
