PLANNING ADVISORY COMMITTEE
NOTES
June 17, 2003 at 7pm

Call to Order by Chairman

Councillor Paul Marshall called the meeting to order at 7:13pm indicating to the
persons ìn attendance that the" Committee" lacked a "Quorum" and therefore
unable to make recommendations and listen to delegations. However, staff
would present reports on the applications.

NATURE THEREOF - IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ACT."
None Declared.

Adoption of Minutes
Minutes as were not adopted for May 13, 2003 meeting due to lack of Quorum
also that not all members had received copies of the minutes.

Presentation of Reports

Sandi Thomson- Garden Suite Application
Nick McDonald outlined the application for the placement of a
Garden Suite on their property for a period of ten years. The
Committee discussed the adequacy of the $2500 amount of the
Deposit.
Sherrie Ann Watt- Site Specific Rezoning
Nick McDonald outlined the application for the site specific rezoning
of the property as a condition of consent granted by the
Committee of Adjustment on the basis of intensive or specialized
Agricultural uses. The severed portion is to be rezoned to prevent
placement of a residence upon the property in accordance to the
policies of the Official Plan. The Committee discussed with staff the
type of agricultural uses that the applicant has proposed. It was
noted that the applicant could not attend due to a previously
arranged orientation session for his summer camp.

Traci St. Amant- Site Specific Rezoning
Nick McDonald outlined the application for the site specific
rezoning of the property to permit the building of a residence on the
property. The required environmental study was completed by the
applicant and reviewed by the County of Simcoe. The County of
Simcoe through their consultant had raised some issues but were
satisfied that their concerns have since been adequately addressed
and resolved to their satisfaction by the applicants consultants.

John Graham- Temporary Use Bylaw for CMX Racing
Nick McDonald outlined the application for the temporary use
By-law for using his property for CMX races 4 times a year. Nick
McDonald mentioned about the receipt of many communications
persons either supporting or not supporting the applicant's
proposal. The Committee discussed the noise concerns of other
CMX events including those raised from the previous year.
Environmental and traffic aspects were also discussed at length on
the proposal.

6.
Housekeeping Amendements
Nick McDonald outlined the housekeeping amendments covering
Accessory building size on smaller A/RU zoned residential
properties, the amending of EP zones in certain areas of the
Township where there are mapping conflicts identified, properties
where the residential zone had been In error and lastly the removal
of the "Holding" provision along certain private roads that
have since been assumed by the Township.
