SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING
SEVENTY-SEVENTH MEETING 1985-88 COUNCIL
The following members of Council were present:
Reeve Robert E. Drury
Deputy Reeve Thelma Halfacre
Councillor David Burton
Councillor Robert Swerdon
Absent:
Councillor David Caldwell
Reeve Robert E. Drury chaired the meeting.
Also present were:
Ms. Holly Spacek, Mr. Ron Watkin
Reeve RobErt E. Drury opened the meeting by explaining to those present
that the purpose of the Public Meeting was to introduce a proposed
Zoning By-law Amendment under Section 34(12) of the Planning Act.
The proposed Zoning By-law would rezone those lands located in Part
of the Eastern Portion of Lot 24, Concession 1, described legally as
Lots 1 to 20 inclusive and Lots 23 to 26 inclusive, Registered Plan
1464 from the Holding (H) Zone to the General Residential (RG) Zone.
The purpose of the rezoning is to recognize 24 residential lots
created previously by Registered Plan.
Notice of the public meeting was circulated to the area affected and
to all lands owners within 120 metres of the affected area on August 12, 1987
in accordance with Ontario Regulations. In addition, notices were sent
to Agencies considered to have an interest in this matter.
Also persons present will be afforded the opportunity of asking questions
with respect to the proposed rezoning amendment. Reeve Drury then turned
the meeting over the Township Planner Holly Spacek who explained the
purpose and affect of the proposed amendment.
The Reeve then asked the Clerk if there had been any correspondence received
on this matter. The Clerk responded that no correspondence had been received.
The Reeve then asked those present if they had any questions or concerns
with regards to the proposal.
There were no questions from those present.
The Reeve prior to closing the meeting, asked that if anyone wishes to be
notified of the passing of the proposed by-law that there were to leave
their name and address with the Clerk.
