Carried. Motion NO.2 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Johnson It is recommended that the confidential correspondence from David S. White, Township Solicitor re: Hodgkinson be received and further Mrs. Hodgkinson's request to have the lot levy requirement refunded be limited to a refund of $1,000.00 due to the legal expenses and staff time required which could have been resolved had her solicitor completed the task. Reed, Solicitor, with regards to Part Lot 35, Conc. 1, E.P.R. be received and further the Administrator/Clerk invite Mr. Reed and his clients to a future Committee of the Whole Meeting along with the Township Planner, Township Planning Consultant and Township Solicitor. Motion No.4 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the Administrator/Clerk and Treasurer be allowed to attend the workshop entitled Managing Problem Employees to be held on March 17, 1989 and Reeve Robert Drury be allowed to attend the workshops entitled Management for Supervisors and Managing Problem Employees to be held on March 16 and 17, 1989. Motion No.5 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the correspondence from the Huronia Symphony Incorporated requesting a financial contribution be referred to the 1989 budget. Motion No. Moved by Crawford, seconded by Johnson It is recommended that the report from Fire Chief Paul Eenhoorn concerning fire department activities for the month of November 1988 be received. Carried. Motion No.7 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the Administration Office only be open on Wednesday, December 28th and Thursday, December 29th, 1988 and further the Township Offices would be closed on the following dates: Monday, December 26th, Tuesday, December 27th, Friday, December 30th, 1988 and Monday, January 2, 1989: and further the Staff would Je required to take a half day holiday or accumulated overtime for the half day on December 30th in order to accommodate the office being closed for the a.m. portion of this day. - 3 - ~ Motion No.8 Moved by Burton, seconded by Johnson It is recommended that the Roads Department hours of work between December 23, 1988 and January 3, 1989 will only occur during the inclement weather which would require the men for plowing or sanding and the 2~ actual working days will be taken as overtime or holidays to cover the time off.
