Reeve Robert E. Drury chaired the meeting.
Reeve Robert E. Drury opened the meeting by explaining to
those present that this meeting was called by Council with
respect to the passing of By-laws 88-101 and 88-102 under
Section 49(4) of the Planning Act. These by-laws affected
lands on the following plans of subdivision: Plans 93,
589, 626, 709, 798, 1154, M-20 and all lots in that portion
of Plan 1 lying east of Penetanguishene Street.
The Reeve then turned the meeting over to Michael Shain,
Township Solicitor who explained the purpose and effect
of passing By-laws 88-101 and 88-102.
Mr. Shain explained that this meeting was called to give
persons who had corresponded with the Township indicating
that they had concerns over the passing of these two by-laws,
an opportunity to address Council and explain their
individual situations and how these by-laws affected their
properties or their client's properties.
Mr. Shain then read the names of those people who had
corresponded with the Municipality and asked if they were
present at this meeting.
Mr. Shain then called the following persons to the microphone
and asked that each individual give their name and the
name of their client or the person they represented and the
Plan and lot number of the subject property.
John Mucklestone:
Deputy Reeve
Caldwell:
John Muckelstone:
Lives on lots 1, 2 & 3, Plan 93 and owns
remaining lots on Plan 93. Would like
to see the land developed into estate
sized lots along Robinson Street. Request
the Township to hold off on the By-law
with respect to Plan 93 until a plan can
be presented.
How many lots would you be proposing?
Five all together.

Mr. McCreary:
What we are requesting is that this lot
be exempted as the water and septic
requirements can be solved in order that
a building permit may be issued.

Mr. Rogers:
Owner of Lots 71, 72, 73, 74 & 75, Plan
709. Mr. Rogers lawyer is out of the
country and has asked that his matter
be deferred.
Reeve Drury:
If your solicitor is available next week,
contact the office and an appointment
will be made with Council to discuss
this matter next Monday evening.
Don Hanney:
I own lots on Lots 19 & 20, Plan 709
my concern is not for myself but for
Mrs. Emery who's property abutts mine.
Mrs. Emery is away until the first part
of May and it would be appreciated if
we could do something on her behalf in
her absence. It may not affect her
at all but I suggest that it be deferred
to provide her an opportunity to provide
a Solicitor.
.
Reeve Drury:
Please advise us later this week to confirm
the date when Mrs. Emery will be due back
and we will defer the matter until then.
The Reeve in closing the meeting thanked those in attendance
for their participation and advised that Council would
consider all information presented at the meeting and advised
that the Municipality would be corresponding with each
individual property owner who had brought a concern to
this meeting. -
Motion No.1
