The applicant has applied to rezone lands described as Part of the West Half of Lot 17, Concession 4, in the Township of Oro. The Reeve then asked the Clerk if there had been any correspondence received on this matter. The Reeve then stated that those persons present would be afforded the opportunity of asking questions with respect to the proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment. Reeve Robert E. Drury then turned the meeting over to the Township Planner, Ms. Beverly Nicolson, to explain the purpose and effect of the proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment. þ I' - 2 - .. Beverly Nicolson This Public Meeting is being held with respect to a rezoning on a property described as Part of Lot 17, Concession 4. The lands are owned by June and Garry Sanderson. The purpose of the proposed zoning amendment is to change the lands from the current Agricultural Zone to a Rural Residential Zone. The effect of this amendment would be to change the use on the property from Agricultural to primarily a Residential Use. The reason for this application is that the applicants have made an application to the Committee of Adjustment and one of the conditions that the Committee put on the Consent was that a rezoning be undertaken so that the zoning reflected the proposed use which is residential. The Reeve after inquiring and ascertaining that there were no questions from those present, thanked those in attendance for their participation and advised Council would consider all matters before reaching a decision. He also advised those present that if they wished to be notified on the passing of the proposed By-Law, they should leave their name and address with the Clerk. MOTION NO.1 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that the Special Public Meeting (Sanderson) be adjourned @ 7:05 a.m. Carried. Reæt E(:O~ ß;{;y:~ . Clerk Robert W. Small -~,"
