03 09 1992 Council Minutes THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE Minutes of a Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on March 9, 1992 at 7: 00 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone. Present Reeve - I. Beard Deputy Reeve - N. Dalziel Councillors - D. Bell - M. Martin - W. Dickie ReqQlutiQrL~QY~_J2f!S~E2,fLas follows: " That the minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council held on February 24/92 and the minutes of a Special Meeting of Council held on March 3, 1992 be adopted as printed and circulated". It was noted that the proposed zoning meetings had been changed from March 31/92 to April 2/92. 1 ) ~12JL Agoston [ pt Lot 2A_.QQIL_l1, approached Council regarding the zoning on their property. Council noted that the present use was not in carpliance to the Rural Zoning. Mr. Agoston agreed that he was using his outbuilding Corrmercially. He agreed with a site specific rezoning. Council agreed that this fell within the permited use in the Official Plan and directed the Clerk set up a rezoning meeting. 2) ~~"~~:J;Qach~sL~_Council regarding serverance of his land. He explained that the Carmittee of Adjustment had turned down a recent application as it did not comply. He requested Council amend their Official Plan to allow a retirement lot. Council advised they were amending their Official Plan. 1) Resolution 92-67 was passed as follows: " That Council of the Township of Medonte approves of the proposed revised parking restrictions along Highwy 93 in Hillsdale". 2) ResolutJon 92-68 was pclssed as follows: " That Council of the Township of. Medonte requests the County provide two amnesty waste collection days at the County Waste Sites, one in the Spring and one in the Fall". P~~=~ 1) (;ounQi;L~ the 12roposeCL development Charges By-law. They decided to have a meeting on March 20/92 with their Consultant and Solicitor to have a final explanation. They also decided that any changes to their By-law and study amounts would not affect their agreement with J .H. Investments. d as follows: That a Development Charges By-law be considered read a first and second time this 9th Day of March, 1992". 1) Resolu~~tas follows: " That Council of the Township of Medonte instructs the Clerk contact the Ministry of Municipal Affairs to ask for additional time for Council to consider the proposed legislation for Open Local Government". 2) Eesolution~:-71 waspasseg as follows: " That the Clerk and Councillor Martin be authorized to attend a one day seminar on April 16/92 in Barrie on the Ontario Building Code and the Municipal responsibilities".
