Minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on Monday,
June 11, 1990 at 7:00 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone.

if Mr. Mason hires machines to clean out ditch. Mr. Ball reported that the surface
treatment should be done by the end of June.

install entrance culverts. Council decided not to change their present policy.
Mr ~ Ball requested pennission to hire a student for 10 weeks this sumner. He requires
. soIDeone~who can operate a tractor. Council approved his request.
GOJ]I1cil then met with Mr.:..KJmitl1 of Reid & Associates and opened the Tenders for
the replacement of a Bridge between lots 8 & 9 Con 7. There were 8 tenders received.

~tb a,dvised CounQ..iJ that the finishing of the Hillsdale Subdivision Drainage is
now complete and appears to be satisfactory.
Mr. Smij:h advised Council that he is requesting Robin Crest repair the flow metre in
their pumphouse and if they do not he will.

1 ) J;1r. T. Morrison of Hillsdale represented a delegation who complained to Council
regarding the parking of old cars and junk on several pieces of property. Council
directed the Clerk take the matter to the Township Solicitor. They also
complained about parking at the corner of Mill Street & Highway 93. Council directed
the Clerk contact the Ministry of Transportation to control parking along Highway
93 at this intersection.

while constructing a house.

property, pt Lot 16, Con 14 until September 3, 1990 while constructing a house".

advised him that the Interim Control By-law is still place and that he could
not apply for a severance until a new policy was drafted and adopted. Council
advised Mr. Arnaul t they would advise him of any public meetings.

development of Horseshoe North. Council presented him with a copy of a memo fran
their planners and discussed the project. It was decided there would be a two
stage site plan, the first stage to include a portion of road, a pond for
snovvrnaking, a snovvroaking building and the main chalet. Mr. Kimble advised that
the existing tile beds would be used for a period of one year until a sewage
treatment facility can be constructed. Council agreed to hold a meeting of parties
involved and requested Mr. Kimble (a) obtain a Health Unit approval; (b) sub:nit
plans for snowmaking building; (c) contact the County Roads Department; (d) sub:nit
final plans for lodge.

regarding a proposed development abutting his fann. Council directed the Clerk
file the correspondence for future consideration.

tOW-drds their Commencement Exercises.

Subdivision.

" That Council approves of a Special Occasion Pennit for the Vasey Park Board
for their "Dance on a Diamond" to be held August 4, 1990".

developrnent, pt Lot 15 Con 9 and directed the Clerk forward the report to the
developer.
2) C01IDci;h...EE.?yJ~~e('L.~....~1J2Et on the proposed rezoning of a development, pt Lot 11
Con 13, and deferred action until hearing comments fran the developer.
3) GOUDci~...1"e,,-iewe.fLg,.12rQPQs~gagreement with the County of Simcoe with regard to
waste management. Council decided to meet with their Solicitor on July 3, 1990
at 1: 00 P.M. to review the agreement.
4) Co:unciJ~reY~ a rE.?qllest for a rezoning pt Lot 11, Con 3 and deferred decision
to the next Council meeting.
