minutes of Public Meetings held under Section 17 of the Planning Act on
September 24 and September 26, be adopted as printed and circulated".

proposed Official Plan Amendments and request for severance of Mr. Brown Pt Lot
15, Con 9. Council directed the Clerk send the memos as presented to the
Brown's consultants and advise Mr. Brown they would consider his request for
severance after an Official Plan Public Meeting.

Resolution 90-22~ was I2~~~ as follows:
" That Council approves of hiring Mr. William Steels for the position of Truck
Driver-Labourer, to be effective October 9, 1990 and that Mr. Steels be on a
3 month probationary period".
Resolution 90-226 was passed as follows:
~petIITons the Ministry of Transportation for Interim Payment of
Subsidy under the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act on
expenditures made in the year 1990 in the amount of $843,082.35".

Mr. Ball ~ssed his concern over the surface treatment in Robin Crest going
dOWn ~.-sowlate in the year. Council agreed to provide winter maintenance for
Robin Crest at cost if requested.

1) Mr..R!.- Jon~en & Jonel" and Mr. B. Stills approached Council and
presented a develq:ment proposal for pt Lot 68 Con I. They requested
Council consider a proposal for 55 1 acre lots rather then the 2 acres as
required by Council for estate development. Council deferred any decision
to discuss the proposal with their Planners.
2) Mr. Bert and Mr. Doug J olie approached Council and outlined their progress
in developing two lots in Hillsdale. Council agreed to the servicing plans
regarding road and drainage subject to their Engineers approval. Council
agreed to the Clerk drafting a small development agreement and approved of
issuing a building pennit subject that the development agreement is signed,
the road is deeded to Council, and the letter of credit is on land.
3) ~r':"w~~E;:~ Council regarding his property in Hillsdale. Council
agreed to hls occupying his property for residential purposes subject to
obtaining approval under the Building Code.

" That Council approves of Mr. Dean occupying his building on Highway 93 in
Hillsdale for his own purposes subject that no commercial or further
residential use be made of the property until a Site Plan Agreement is
signed" .

4) ~Q1JDcil directed the Clerk notify Reid & Associates not to proceed with any
work on replacing water lines on the 8th Concession until the line is
properly located and its depth found.

1) Resolution 90-230 was I?assed as follows:
" That a By-law to appoint a Committee of Adjustment for the Township of
Medonte be considered read a first and second time, read a third time and
passed this 9th Day of October, 1990 and numbered By-law 1990-29".
2) ResolutiQ!1~2~Q:-w~2L~~d as follows:
" That a By-law to amend By-laws 89-15 and 1990-20 be considered read a
first and second time, read a third time and passed this 9th Day of
October, 1990 and numbered By-law 1990-30".
NEW BUSINESS

1) Resolution 90-232 was assed as follows:
i. That Council approves of an extension of draft plan, Ministry file 43-
T-88070, pt Lot 23 Con 11, for a period of one year".
2) Council refused a rest fran the Wanninster Crossing Guard for an lncrease
in salary.

3) :f{eSQl.1dtion 90-233 was pass~ as follows:
" That Council approves of proceeding with a rezoning for Mr. & Mrs. Eade,
Pt Lot 75 Con 1, fran Rural to Rural Residential to allow them to
complete their severance as approved by the Committee of Ajustment, and
that the two ~ acre lots be canbined to canply to the Zoning By-law".
4) ~\!liQ!12~q as follows:
" That Council approves of the 500.00 payment towards deductible of
insurance for repairs to the Hillsdale Community Centre be paid out of
Parkland Reserve Fund".
