05 27 1991 Council Minutes THE CORPORATION OF THE TO'WNSHIP OF MEOONTE Minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on May 27, 1991 at 7: 00 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone. Present - Deputy Reeve - H. Vasey Councillors - J. Patterson - C. Hall - N. Dalziel ~ Absent - Reeve - I. Amos In the absence of Reeve Amos, Deputy Reeve Vasey assumed the Chair for the meeting. ~ ReqQlution 91-1 04 was )2Q,sseg as follows: " That the minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council held on May 13, 1991 and the minutes of Special Meetings of Ccuncil held on May 15 and May 21, 1991 be adopted as printed and circulated". QQ.uncil reviewed the ~rE2C\Ue~ fram Dr. P. Dean at the Council meeting of May 13/91 to provide off street parking at the Shell Station in Hillsdale. Council directed the Clerk advise Dr. Dean that they did not feel this parking would be satisfactory but they agreed to lower their proposed cash in lieu from $3000.00 per lot to $2,500.00 per lot. 1 ) Mr. B. Still of He.dbUDJ. Developnents met with Council and introduced his plans for developnent for a subdivision he recently purchased in Hillsdale. J. .B.eindE2rl? advised Council that the draft plan was not current to the new Township Zoning By-law and requested Council be site specific with a rezoning to reflect that same of the lots were to small in frontage and area. Council advised that they would approve a site specific rezoning if the Health Unit approved the lots for septic. t MJ" ..~~;rpnt~I19:.-J;h~. the engineering plans for servicing the site. Mr. Stills advised Council he had met with the Hillsdale Police Village Trustee's and outlined his plans for street lighting and water. He advised that the Trustee's had requested sidewalks and he did not feel this subdivision warranted sidewalks. Mr. Trotter of F.J. Reinders outlined the servicing problems with trying to put sidewalks into this developnent. ~St.:l~_ aqJ<ecl..LQL Council's co-operation in sorting out the various issues when the three parties negotiate a subdivision agreement. t 2) Mr. ..B...!~QnS2!2...l~~..!._~~..::r_!.~m"EQ!2:t:S2r & Mr. B. Stills approached Council on the proposed Kenney Official Plan Amendment. ~~Jones reviewed his. correspondence under date of May 23/91 wherein he responded to the letters of concern received over the proposed Official Plan Amendment. He requested Council proceed with adoption of the amendment. Council deferred a decision to allow them further review the proposal. ResoluliQn.-9~_ defeg.teg, as follows: "That Council approves of 744727 Ontario Inc. proceeding with an Official Plan Amendment for their lands, pt Lot 19 & 20, Concession 11, to allow for a Rural Residential Subdivision".
