THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEOONTE
Minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on August
26, 1991 at 7: 00 PM in Council Chambers, Moonstone.

held on August 12, 1991 be adopted as printed and circulated".

CQ'!,;!.ilQil the~".h~.lg~_C:t Special Meeting at 7:00 P.M. and 7: 15 to consider Road
Closings and Sale By-laws under Section 298(1) of the Municipal Act. The Clerk
advised that proper notification was given by publishing notice in a local paper
on August 1, 8, 15 & 22 and posting in the area. He also advised Council that
all abutting land owners were contacted and that all utili ties had been
contacted. No one was in attendance and Council decided to deal with the By-
laws later in the meeting.
Council then met with Mr. G. Ball, Township Roads Superintendent who updated
Council on various projects.

Corrmunity Centre Board and requested Council consider increasing their grant
to the Corrmunity Centre to match what was given by neighbouring Townships.

fram $2,000.00 to $5,000.00".

plan for a subdivision on pt Lot 14 Con 8. Council had no major objections
and gave the developer copies of reports fram the Township Engineers and
Planners.

3) ~x.:---Gr.~JQ~t with Council to discuss the requirements for a drainage
easement and a lot levy for his application for severance.

" That Council advises the Committee of Adjustment that they will not
require a Drainage Easement across the property of Mr. G. Whiston".

sealed estimates for the construction of the Warminster Fire Hall.
Council opened the estimates -
1) Vincent Kyle Construction Ltd.
Total $49,542.06
2) Melody Enterprises
Total $62,591.80

" That Council accepts the quotation of Vincent Kyle Construction Ltd. in the
amount of $46,500.00 plus G.S.T. for the construction of a Fire Hall,
Warminster and that Council will require a holdback of 15% for 60 Days fram
completion".

Lot 51 Con 1, by severance. Council advised that their instructions fram
1989 that Industrial DevelopTIent would have to be done by plan of subdivision.
They requested Mr. Home put any proposals in writing.

directed the reports be forwarded to the Gordons for their corrments.
