01 13 1987 Council Minutes THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE Minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on Tuesday, January 13, 1987 at 7:00 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone. Beleskey ResolytiolL.SZ~as. passed as follows: " That the minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on December 23, 1986 and minutes of a meeting held on January 5, 1987 be adopted as circulated". Richardson regarding extracting gravel from his pit, lot 7, concession 3 and discussed building a private road out to Highway 93 so they can haul the gravel without having to go through Hillsdale. Re.SQlutioD--8Z::l~.~s passed as follows: " That Council approves in principal of the plans of McKean Quarries Ltd. for the upgrading of the Township Road running between lots 50 & 51 from the 2nd Concession for a distance of approximately 100 feet west, and running a private road from that point to the end of Castle Drive, upgrading Castle Drive to Highway 93; And that Council agrees to purchase the necessary land for road purposes Walter Miller, Waiter George and Larry Forster and to convey sarne to McKean Quarries Ltd., for use as a private roadway, at the expense of McKedil Quarries; And that any work on Township Road Allowance shall be done to Township Standards under the direction of the Township Road's Superintendent. He advised Council there might not be funds to run through the winter. Council advised that they provided funds for maintenance already and suggested the Hall Committee do some fund raising. the road's budget. Insurance Brokers Ltd. being the cost of insurance for the year 1987". ..Resolution '1,7-6 was passed as follows: II That Councillor Beleskey be authorized to attend the R.O.M.A. COnvention to be held in Toronto from February 8th to 11 th, 1987".
