THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE
Minutes of a Special Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on Tuesday,
February 17, 1987 at 7:00 P.M.

There was a discussion regarding completion of the garage. It was decided to meet on
site at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, February 20 with the Building Inspector.

1) obtain a price on a spray patching outfit
2) mark the trees at the waste disposal site for the proposed road
3) order an advance warning for Stop Sign at intersection of Concession 3 and County Road 19.
4) order a supply of proper "Bump" signs and "Pavement Ends" signs
5) report to Council on improper stop signs
6) contact Ken Truax Construction regarding removing large rocks from construction job
on 9th Concession.

possible in spring and that traffic counts be taken on all Township roads.

as required under section 243 of the Municipal Act. She also presented a financial statement
for the year 1986.

" That Council approves of a cancellation of residential public assessment in the amount
of $900., Roll 5-202, Ontario Heritage Foundation, as property became exempt after
return of roll, for all of 1987".

" That Council write off Business tax for the year 1986 In the amount of 29.30, Roll
4-174-03-0001 as uncollectable".

" That Council write-off the 1985 Business Tax In the amount of 164.75, Roll 4-140-01-
0002 as uncollectable".
Re.s.olutiQn 87-47 was passed as follows:
" That Council write-off the business tax as listed below, Roll II 5-115-0002 as uncollectable
1985 - 78.49
1986 - 43.57".
ResolutiQn 87~as passed as follows:
" That Council recommends file B-1 /87, Sou thorn, for approval".
Resolution 87-4'2 was passed as follows:
" That Council recommends file B-2/87, Brookings, for approval".
Councillor Beleskey declared a conflict of interest and did not discuss or vote on the
following resolution. Resolution 87-50 was passed as follows:
" That Council recommends file B-3/87, Horne, for approval".

" That Council apRtioves of G. Wilson attending the grader operator upgrading program
from May 25th to 28th".
R~lution" 87-52 was passed as follows:
" That Council directs the Clerk prepare the necessary By-Law for the assumption of
the Mt. St. Louis Estate subdivision and authorizes the release to the developer of
the letter of credit in the amount of $30,665.00".
