08 23 1987 Council Minutes THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE Minutes of a Regular Meeting of Council of the Township of Medonte held on Tuesday, August 25, 1987 at 7:00 P.M. in Council Chambers, Moonstone, Ontario Present Deputy Reeve - I. Council apprQyed tearing up the Mt. St. Louis Road from Highway 12 West to the surve. Council approved of cleaning out the ditch along the Foxmead sideroad between Concession 12 and 13 and putting up rap in to stop silting. Council agreed to do some ditching in front of Frank Orr's on the 10th Con. if Mr. Orr agrees to purchase culvert. Mr. li.... Tesk~~roachF'd Council regarding his proposed subdivision. There was a discussion on the requirements before registering the plan. Resolution 87-223 was passed as follows: " That the Reeve and Clerk be authorized to execute a Subdivider's Agreement with Mr. A. t Teskey subject to meeting with the conditions of draft approval". .Mrs. D. StoDe ~.c.he!:LCouncil regarding having her home designated under the Ontario Herita~ Act. Council requested she prepare a written history of the property. Resolution g7-..11Lwas passed as follows: " Whereas Council of the Township of Medonte is aware of the announcement of Provincial Funding for the renovation of the existing Orillia Soldier's Memorial Hospital Be it resolved that the Board of Trustees of the Hospital be informed that Medonte Council supports the Hospital Board's plans to construct a new acute care facility on a new site leaving the existing site available for long term care". l1.Ub'-4V\,. ~./, .,....... Clerk to advise that Council will not change asking prIce. 2) B e<;()!J Jtiol+-.&7 -72 ') was passed as follows: " That Council approves of the joint agreement for the operation of the communications tower at Mount St. Louis and that the Reeve and Clerk be authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the Township". ~ . 3) ResolutipLk.81-226~ was passed as follows: " That after careful consideration Council of the Township of Medonte advise their Solicitor that he advise Mr. Lohauru that Council will not assume the supervision and control of the communal tile beds in Horseshoe Valley.
